Recently, the list of industrial Internet pilot demonstration projects in 2023 by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was officially released. Through the recommendation of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, and through layers of screening and strict review, Baowu's "Metallurgical Engineering digital design delivery and digital twin engineering key technology research and development and application" project was officially listed as the Industrial Internet + digital twin pilot demonstration project in 2023, which reflects Baowu's "high-end, intelligent, green and efficient" as the leader. Persistently explore the process manufacturing industry from digital design delivery to digital twin operation technology, showing the application of new quality productivity in practice.
"Metallurgical Engineering digital design delivery and digital twin engineering key technology research and development and application" project originated from Baowu "research and development, engineering integration, continuous improvement" technology innovation system "troika" coordinated progress, the group leaders attach great importance to the project, the project included in Baowu technology innovation key support project, to provide a strong driving force for the project to gradually move forward. Baosteel Engineering, Baosteel Shares and other 11 brother units set up a joint project team to jointly develop and build, driven by scientific and technological innovation, build a unified data standard system from the source of engineering design, achieve one-code penetration of the full life cycle information of production line equipment, and closely carry out digital design delivery and digital twin smart factory construction around production line equipment. Service steel production line equipment design, construction, operation and maintenance, technical transformation, update of the whole life cycle of continuous optimization, to help steel enterprises high-quality development. After the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements of the Chinese Society of Metals, the project as a whole has reached the international leading level. In 2021, the project won the second prize of the "Third Central Enterprise Yixing Innovation and Creativity Competition" of SASAC of The State Council; In 2023, it won the first prize of Baowu Major Technological Innovation Achievements, the fifth batch of service-oriented Manufacturing Demonstration Platform in Shanghai, the "Model Innovation Service Demonstration Case" of China International Fair for Trade in Services, and the Outstanding Award of Autodesk Global Design & Manufacturing in Greater China.
